Project Description
James St, Brisbane
I designed a 72-page fashion and lifestyle magazine for Brisbane’s James Street Precinct, developing a flexible editorial design system that could accommodate a wide range of luxury brands while maintaining a cohesive look and feel. The system covered grid, typography, image treatment, and pacing, allowing fashion, lifestyle, and retail content to sit comfortably alongside one another.
Alongside the design, I led the photography process end to end, sourcing the photographer, collaborating on set direction, and curating final imagery to ensure it aligned with the established visual framework. The publication showcased the precinct’s boutique retail offering and was instrumental in attracting new audiences, reinforcing James Street’s position as a premium retail destination.
