Project Description
Smart Logistics
For U.S.-based transport company Get Smart, I designed the inaugural issue of Smart Logistics, helping bring a brand-new industry magazine to life.
The challenge was to present information in a way that felt clear, credible, and easy to navigate, while still engaging readers who work in a fast-moving industry.
I developed the magazine’s visual identity from the ground up, including branding guidelines, colour palette, and typography. From there, I created a flexible editorial layout system that could be used consistently across sections, making it easy to handle long articles and regular columns without the design feeling repetitive. I also designed several in-issue advertisements to align with the overall look and feel of the publication.
The result was a clean, professional launch issue with a strong foundation for future editions. By focusing on structure, hierarchy, and consistency, the magazine was set up as a scalable editorial system rather than a one-off design.
